Create a named session #

tmux new-session -s session1  # session name

Attach to a named session #

tmux ls

tmux attach -t my_session

tmux attach -t 0  # session number

Create a new window #

Prefix (Ctrl + space) then c: Ctrl+space c

Delete a window #

Prefix + &

If a window only has a single pane, it can be killed with the kill pane command: Prefix + x

Switch windows #

Prefix + n (window number)

Kill a pane #
